Capgemini India has taken several measures to turn a more lucrative employer and curb attrition, Times of India reports. The consulting major has switched to a quarterly appraisal cycle and effected 19,000 promotions in the last one year – the highest in a decade. The company has also corrected salaries for those who joined as freshers and have completed 2-4 years with it. Underlining these changes is Capgemini’s new HR strategy E=mc2: employee engagement equals motivation, compensation and career. The IT services firm, which employs over 100,000 people in India, got flak on social media last year for poor hikes.
