Indian car buyers are increasingly looking to go hybrid. Nearly 39% respondents to a Deloitte study said they’d prefer a hybrid (21%), electric (6%) or alternate technology powered car (12%) over a conventional one. That’s up meaningfully from 31% in last year’s survey, thanks to supportive environmental policies and the entry of big brands.
